Live Alone

I’m fully aware that I’m probably the 53,821st blogger to stick this song up on his/her blog, but y’know I was busy before Christmas and this is my party and I’ll put up flogged-to-death videos if I want to. It seems like the phrase du jour is “*insert track name here* is my jam” – well if I was pretentious enough to go down that route I’d be saying “Live Alone is my jam”, and considering I’ve used the words “du jour” already in this post, I’m clearly pretentious enough. Comedy Vehicle

Most of the television I watch has some sort of soporific purpose, or at the very least is kind of there for passive enjoyment, to help me unwind, to offer mild escapism etc etc. And this is not necessarily a slight on the majority of what I watch. We’re not huge TV-watchers in my household, and generally turn to it towards the end of the evening once work/chores/general cultural stimulation are out of the way/no longer an enjoyable or viable prospect. New adventures from my RSS Reader

And so, your correspondent tumbles towards the refuge of the weekend without offering you, the reader, a whole lot of insight, value or entertainment. It’s been a long week, and I doubt any further inspiration will spark anytime soon, so instead I’m falling back on other stuff I’ve read on the internet, that you may or may not enjoy.
