Only four games left, folks! Looking at my blogging habits, it may appear that after England’s woeful exit I went into something of a decline. Far from it. While this tournament has yet to match the all-time great World Cups, it has certainly had some fine moments, such as Brazil’s complete implosion against the Dutch, Germany dismantling Argentina and especially the electric final moments of Ghana/Uruguay. Much has been made of this World Cup being thoroughly disappointing so far. We’ve had a real lack of goals (bar Germany), a real lack of quality (bar Germany again) and a real lack of drama. Well, the previewing and punting extravaganza continues! Today I’m taking a look at how I think World Cup Groups E to H might pan out. As before, the odds might not be entirely accurate and the predictions almost certainly won’t be! Still, as we get closer and closer to the greatest sporting tournament on Earth (so great, even FIFA can’t ruin it), I think it is well worth a look at the fun that awaits us.
