Putting off what could be done tomorrow, today

Where there is error, may we bring truth

Last night there were certain parts of the UK out in force celebrating the death of Margaret Thatcher. In some ways I don’t blame them. Her policies destroyed whole communities, destroyed lives. But ultimately celebrating her death feels pointless. I get queasy at the thought of celebrating anyone’s death, anyway. Another Opening Day

This place started out as a blog about sport. I pretty quickly realised that I didn’t have anything interesting to say about sporting matters, so I decided to broaden the focus of the blog, as I had nothing interesting to say about lots of other things too.
