200 not out

Special 200th issue!This is my 200th post on this blog. I thought this was worth marking, in a quiet way, as opposed to marking any calendar-based anniversary for the blog. I’m pleased that I have somehow managed to write that much content over the last little while, and to also have a few people read it. So, a big thank you to my readers here, and particularly to all of you who have left comments. Having a small, yet perfectly-formed, audience has certainly helped motivate me to continue writing. Then, Jamie Redknapp labelled Fernando Torres’ performance as ‘diabolical’. And over the weekend, former Newcastle United player and manager, Alan Shearer, confidently stated that “No one really knows a great deal of him” in relation to Newcastle’s French international Hatem Ben Arfa.
